In the 1970's Gabriel was one of Seattle's most poplular and influential bands of the decade.  By the mid 70's they had signed with 4 major labels and released three albums, Two on ABC Dunhill and one on CBS Epic Sweet City.  During this time they sold a quarter million records worldwide.  Their first album was met with critical acclaim and their second album yeilded a top 5 record in Europe with "Don't Tell Me No".  Their biggest record was "Martha" in 1977 that reached 32 on the Billboard Charts.
